5The fDi Intelligence, part of the Financial Times, has published its annual „Global City of the Future“ ranking. 129 cities were compared in five categories: economic potential, economic friendliness, human capital and life quality, cost effectiveness and infrastructure. In the process, Munich was rated 14th!

In the category of large cities, Munich is even in 4th place. Although only cities with 2 – 5 million inhabitants are included in this category, Munich was included because it accounts more than 30 % of all direct investments in the country.
