2016
MUST - The Munich Summit 1st Event

At UnternehmerTUM GmbH, this annual 3-day event brings together tech startups from all over the world, key experts from the tech community, venture capitalists and representatives from science and academia. It is the perfect setting for in-person discussions, new partnerships and cross-fertilising ideas. 400 participants meet to network and foster collaboration for innovative projects. The event includes the PRE-MUST networking evening with workshops and pitches.

2016
MUST SATELLITE 1st Event

MUC SUMMIT GmbH launched the first MUST 3D Printing satellite event together with EOS GmbH, Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship gGmbH and UnternehmerTUM GmbH. With 120 participants, we helped to promote startups in Additive Manufacturing via targeted networking and stimulate new business models for industrial 3D Printing technology. In 2017, MUC Summit GmbH followed this up by launching MUST Healthcare, another interdisciplinary ecosystem in partnership with UnternehmerTUM GmbH, Klinikum rechts der Isar and KPMG AG.

2017
MUST - The Munich Summit 2nd Event

MUST welcomed another 400 nominated C-Level participants who came together, found business matches, and made exciting new deals. The PRE MUST networking evening was in the heart of Munich’s city centre, and the one-to-one conversations were hosted at Munch Airport’s Information Security Hub.

2018
MUST - The Munich Summit 3rd Event

More than 120 startups from over 20 different countries attended the second Munich Summit. The Pre-MUST networking evening was held at Munich's Highlight Towers, followed by a full day of panel discussions, pitches, and workshops at the MUST main event, and networking through one-to-one conversations at the IBM IoT Headquarters.

2019
New Strategy Process

We organized three workshops with 45 C-level participants from government, industry, academia and startups. With partners from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, the City of Munich, Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria, the Entrepreneurship Centers from Munich’s universities, BMW, Google, Intel, PwC, Innosabi, VW, Mindspace, KPMG, WERK1 and others, we engaged a broad range of perspectives and stakeholder groups.

2021
2nd MUST – The Munich Innovation Dialogue

50 attendees experienced exclusive insights from our partner network. For our second MUST Dialogue, we gave special attention to the startup and innovation ecosystem and wanted to generate momentum through keynotes and thereby strengthen the Munich innovation ecosystem.

2021
Munich Global Impact Sprint (MGIS)

The first of many MGIS events, with panel discussions, keynote presentations, follow-up workshops and round table discussions to match project partners and ignite new initiatives.

2021
AI+MUNICH

A joint project of SCE, TUM Venure Labs and MUC Summit, which aims to transform Munich into a lighthouse for AI.

2022
The first 32 promising AI startups

The first 32 promising AI startups will be funded with the help of the AI+Munich project.

Munich Innovation Ecosystem GmbH

Munich Innovation Ecosystem GmbH (former MUC SUMMIT) was launched by UnternehmerTUM GmbH, Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship gGmbH, and Start2 Group GmbH (former German Entrepreneurship GmbH) in 2015. It has now established itself as Munich’s ecosystem builder, strategic partner, and facilitator of high-level networking opportunities.
