On June 25, 2020, MUST – The Munich Innovation Ecosystem, together with Google Safety Engineering Center, organised a virtual workshop on “Privacy and Security in the context of Urban Mobility”.
Together, we wanted to discuss the opportunities and risks of data ecosystems in different areas in order to survive in the disruptive market environment of the future, to set impulses and to further establish Munich as a location for innovation.
Starting with keynote speeches from Dr. Thomas Becker, BMW Group, Vice President of Sustainability & Mobility and Carsten Isert, Google, Engineering Manager, Android Automotive, the participants also had the chance to discuss the topic in several breakout sessions. The focus points of the breakout sessions were: the role of public sector-industry cooperation, the role of local innovation initiatives, and the role of start-up industry cooperation.
